Recently one of our reader told us that he is getting many email notifications from LinkedIn on the daily basis and his inbox is getting filled daily. How to Stop LinkedIn Email Notifications
1. Go to LinkedIn and Login there by using your login credentials.
2. Now place your cursor over your photo in the top right corner of the screen and then Click on ” Privacy & Settings ” OR Go through using reference link ( https://www.linkedin.com/settings/?trk=nav_account_sub_nav_settings ). You may be prompt to sign in again to enter in this page.
3. Now Click on ” Communications ” tab located at the left side of the screen under ” Privacy & Settings “.
4. Then click on Emails and Notifications >> Set the frequency of emails under communications section as you can see in the above image.
When you will click on ” Set the frequency of emails ” then you can select the emails which you would like to receive and how often you’d like them delivered to you.
5. When you will land on ” Email frequency ” page then you will see that you are getting email notifications for various activities happening around your LinkedIn profile. There are some sections from which you have to configure yourself so that you can select for which activity you wants to receive emails and for not.
When you will click on ” Messages from other members ” then you will see that you might be getting emails for invitations, messages and for other communication from LinkedIn members. If you don’t want to get the email notification for all these individual activities then Just click on ”No Email ” from the drop down as you can see in the below screenshot.
Like this, you can also select ” No Emails ” for other activities depends on your needs.
After selecting that for which activity you wants to receive email and for which you wants to stop, Click on ” Save Changes ” button.

7. Go to Groups, Companies & Applications section under Privacy & Settings page and then Click on Set the frequency of group digest emails as you can see in the below screenshot.
As you will click on it then a pop-up will appear where all the LinkedIn groups which you’ve already joined will be listed there.
8. Simply select ” No Emails ” from the drop down in front of the group name. see below image.
9. Click on ” Save Changes ” & YOU ARE DONE.
